Atticus

I could not stop myself...and before I knew it, Bethany has a cat.

Atticus is a Calico Maine Coon, Bethany found him one day a few weeks old huddled between the wood pile and her garage trying to get out of the cold. One look at the poor little thing and the young girl dropped the firewood and rushed the kitten into the house. Her mother, Beatrice, had a bleeding heart just as big as her daughter's. The little kitten didn't even have to work for this home.

Bethany named his Atticus, after a character from her favorite book "To Kill A Mockingbird" ...It won out over Beatrice's choice of "Sir Fluffington, The First".

Little did they know, Atticus wasn't going to be a 'little" cat.

Oh no, Atticus is large and in charge. With a heart as big as the rest of him, and nothing made him sadder than when Bethany's destiny called...and he had to stay behind. 

But he needn't worry, Bethany misses him just as much as he misses her and visits whenever she can. And, when her mom goes away on her annual trips to Mexico.

If she could, she would bring him with...She's trying anyway.
